About STERIZO.
Strengthening churches by equipping the pastors and leaders who serve them.
One Mission. Three Expressions.
Truth
Biblical teaching for the life and mission of the church.
Formation
Practical tools for faithful ministry leadership.
Relationships
Trusted support for pastors and ministry leaders.
We strengthen those who strengthen the Church.
STERIZO comes from the Greek word στηρίζω (stērízō), meaning “to strengthen, establish, or make firm.” The name reflects our calling to help pastors and ministry leaders stand firm in biblical truth and serve their churches faithfully.
Pastors and ministry leaders carry great responsibility in the life of the local church. STERIZO serves Spanish-speaking leaders through biblical training, practical ministry formation, and trusted relationships.
Our mission connects three complementary programs: Verdades Sagradas, CLM, and Praxis Pastoral. Each serves a distinct need while sharing a commitment to healthy churches and equipped leaders.
Christian Córdova
Founder of STERIZO · Pastor and educator
Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Christian moved to Phoenix in 1999 to study Multimedia Design. An encounter with God in 2005 changed the direction of his life and led him to devote his gifts to serving the Church. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Paola, and they have four daughters.
He earned a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Family Counseling and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Talbot Seminary. He formerly served as Director of Hispanic Studies at Phoenix Seminary. Following the seminary’s closure, he founded STERIZO to carry forward its legacy of biblical and ministry formation among Spanish-speaking leaders. He also pastors the Hispanic Ministry at Desert Springs Community Church.
His heart for STERIZO reflects a pastoral conviction: when those who serve the Church receive biblical training, practical tools, and trusted support, their congregations can grow in health and faithfulness. Through Verdades Sagradas, CLM, and Praxis Pastoral, he seeks to make that formation accessible to Spanish-speaking pastors and leaders, for the glory of God.
Formation Happens
in Community.
Ministry grows through more than information. Leaders also need practical tools, opportunities to learn together, and relationships that encourage faithful service.
STERIZO brings these elements together through conferences, structured leadership training, and pastoral formation. Your partnership helps create access to this work.
